Here’s a new track from Usher‘s upcoming album, Versus EP. It’s called “Hot Toddy” and it features Jay-Z and Ester Dean. The final album version will feature Ciara instead of Ester.

We don’t have a lot of information about this yet but according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, female rapper Lil Kim has signed to Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation label.

Beanie Sigel is still dissing Jay-Z. Beanie was a guest at Freeway‘s show a couple of nights ago in Philly. He also took the opportunity to diss T.I.. Why? I have no idea.

KRS-One and Buckshot talk about their song “Robot,” which debuted months ahead of Jay-Z‘s “D.O.A.“. Both records were essentially saying the same thing. He talks about the respect that Jay-Z showed in re-using the theme, and also about naming his Blueprint series, years after KRS released his own album titled Blueprint. Also talks on a possible collab on the song and his overall feelings on Jay-Z.

Here is Jay-Z‘s latest video “On To The Next One.” It features Swizz Beatz.

It seems like Jay-Z will take his wife Beyonce Knowles‘ last name. The couple got married in April 2008 and are now looking for a way to maintain her family’s legacy. Beyonce‘s parents have no sons and her sister Solange Knowles‘ son Daniel Julez Smith carries his father’s last name.

“They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves,” an anonymous source said.

Jay-Z will now be known as Shawn Knowles-Carter.

The whole Beanie Sigel / Jay-Z beef seems like it could get a lot of rappers involved. Fellow New York rapper Fabolous says he won’t have part in the entire thing after rumors started to spread that he would be joining Jay-Z in a new Beanie Sigel diss. In a new interview, Fab talked about what he thinks of the entire battle, adding that he didn’t want to become involved in helping HOV.

“I haven’t,” Fabolous said about a rumored Nas and Jay-Z diss song. “I heard a message or something on the Internet but I haven’t… [I would not do a diss] because that’s not my beef. I don’t have a problem with Beanie, actually, you know what I’m saying, I’m cool with Beanie too. Their thing is a little more personal, I mean. Everybody knows Jay and Beans, at one point, were hand and hand. Like, that’s not my beef, I wouldn’t even jump in there.”
