Dr. Dre is being sued by Paramount Recording Studios for $1,220,500 for not paying them for studio time.

Dre and his label Aftermath Entertainment rented the studio from April 2009 until June 2010 and Paramount claims that they were never paid for this time.

Dre agreed to pay the bill by July 13th but since he failed to do so, Paramount decided to sue him.

Here’s a new commercial for the Beats by Dre edition of the HP Envy laptop. It features Dre‘s “Under Pressure” track.

Rappers Spice One, Felicia “Snoop” Pearson, Bronx Style Bob, producer Domino and others have teamed up to pay tribute to Dr. Dre on a new album.

The release, titled The Chronic 2011: A Millennium Tribute to the Songs of Dr. Dre, features a variety of rappers remaking songs from Dr. Dre’s entire production catalog.

Spice 1 remakes “We Want Eazy,” while Felicia “Snoop” Pearson remakes Snoop Dogg’s “Gin & Juice.”

The album is slated to be released this fall on CD and vinyl. Additionally, two slots are being left open for a new rapper or Hip Hop group to remake a track to be included on the album. MySpace.com links can be emailed to DrDreTribute@yahoo.com.

Here’s a new commercial from HP which features Dr. Dre and Stat Quo.

In a recent interview, Akon talked about a new record Dr. Dre played for him. It’s a dance record.

“That’s shocking,” Akon said. “When you got someone like Dr. Dre about to do a dance record. That’s my point. That’s crazy. But, in a way, it’s so exciting for me because that just shows our industry is so open-minded to everything. And believe it or not, with that open-mindedness, we can create magic.”

It seems like rapper Game is back with Aftermath and Dr. Dre. Game posted the message below on his Twitter yesterday along with a picture, that you can see above, of him wearing three Aftermath chains.
